I know what you mean. It just felt like you described me.

It's especially hard if you're (like me) moving to new places all the time, meeting new people. The only way most of them know to keep in contact with you is facebook or whatsapp. And when I told them I don't have that they just don't understand. When I told them send me an email sometime, this is my pgp key, they start frowning and slowly backing away. And that's sad. I too find it hard to find friends so I'm happy about every single one I get. I don't want to lose them just because I move to a different country.

I want Terry Crews and Vin Diesel to do a buddy cop movie where they are both secret nerds but they don’t want the other to know. Like Vin Diesel plays D & D on weekends and Terry likes to create epic crossover fan art. Somehow they have to work undercover at Comic Con and for what ever reason I need Daniel Radcliffe to be the villain.

I’d like to add: not a character played by Dan Radcliffe. Dan Radcliffe, appearing as himself.

no, no wait… I want Elijah Wood to play Daniel Radcliffe.

Elijah Wood plays Daniel Radcliffe and his evil sidekick is Elijah Wood played by Daniel Radcliffe

La Source des Femmes (2011)

literally everything she said is historically accurate though

the concept of “hijab” existed long before Islam was founded. in pre islamic arabia and throughout the region, women regardless of religion would cover their hair and it was often a symbol of class (other than the concept of covering hair being cultural in christianity and judaism)

women who were higher class and were from a wealthy family covered their hair to distinguish themselves from poorer classes

if wasn’t until after the founding of islam where covering hair was incorporated into muslim culture as “hijab”. there is no mention of hijab in the quran but there is a strong emphasis on modesty. there is however an explicit line in the quran directed towards men:

In Chapter 24 known as an-Nur (the Light), in verse 30, Allah commands Prophet Muhammad as follows:

قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ يَغُضُّوْا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَ يَحْفَظُوْا فُرُوْجَهُمْ, ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ.

“Say to the believing men that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts (by being chaste). This is better for them.”

This is a command to Muslim men that they should not lustfully look at women (other than their own wives); and in order to prevent any possibility of temptation, they are required to cast their glances downwards. This is known as “hijab of the eyes”.

has anyone suggested that rich people keep writing shitty articles about millennials because the only millennials they know are their rich shitty children

Ngl I met a rich millenial once and so much clicked into place.

This guy literally inherited millions of dollars of property, but considered himself a self-made man because he also worked a job that was practically a hobby, completely unnecessary for him.

He also complained that “our generation is so entitled” - because all of his stinking rich friends just got cushy jobs at their parents’ companies. He seriously had no fucking idea that this was a thing exclusive to the rich.

So yeah, I definitely think this is 100% true. Explains the bizarre counterclaims, too, where some millenial acts like all Boomers are wealthy power brokers and no poor Boomers could possibly exist - again, it’s the filthy rich complaining about their own parents.

The reason all their millenials vs boomers bullshit is so fucking out of touch with reality is that it’s all rooted in the capitalist class bickering about each other from their own incredibly insular, clueless perspective.

this has happened to me more times than i can count — i’ve found out when they ejaculate on me (a lot of times on my face without asking) that they took the condom off somewhere in the middle of sex. recently, a man i regularly hooked up with told me he “couldn’t come with a condom on” and i asked how he did it when we had sex before and he laughed and said, “i took it off less than half way through.”

this is something men don’t take seriously, but women are forced to — we’re the ones who have to get the plan b, who have to go get tested, who have to stress about what will happen next. men minds turn off the second after they orgasm.

it is absolutely non-consensual to take a condom off without the sex partner knowing.

Men seem to have no idea how fucking cruel this is, those weeks we spend afterward, panicking over whether we might be pregnant and what we’re going to do about it if we are and what if we caught something? Nah, they probably do have a sense of it; they just don’t fucking care, or they get off on the idea of putting a woman in distress weeks or more after the sexual act has ended.

You are scum if you fucking do this, condone this. End of discussion.

They don’t do it only to us, women. My sister is a doctor and gay men have gone to her consults asking for exams and some have actually shared how their latest hookup removed the condomn without their knowledge and so they were scared to have an STD. Anyone that does this to anyone deserves no respect.
